The ‘Letting Go’ weekend retreat I attended was fabulous. A wonderful group of thoughtful and caring people lead by Shanti. My bed was comfortable, bathrooms were clean, food was absolutely excellent, yoga was wonderful and the discussions and conversations were enlightening and educational. Thank you all so very much. X
Over the Easter break, I attended a silent Meditation Retreat with Shanti. I am still feeling the benefits of being in such a nurturing and beautiful environment. I have more clarity and a greater sense of wellbeing. Shanti's teachings and expertise are unsurpassed. The food is exquisite. I highly recommend Nirvana Wellbeing Retreat.
A lot of people talk about yoga as a 'spiritual practice'. Shanti and her teachers really deliver on that promise. Shanti Yoga is accessible - even with long-term injuries - and shifts the focus from 'what I should be able to do' to 'what I can do'... and celebrates that. I live south of Sydney so don't get to attend classes regularly. I do my utmost to get to the Gold Coast once or twice a year to spend time on the mat and time on retreat, enjoying the amazing vegetarian, ayurvedic meals, insightful discussions and the peace and serenity on offer. I found the Yoga Teacher Training challenging as it's a course in leadership and self understanding... not just how to teach a class. It remains one of the most valuable experiences of my life.
