I've just completed the 6-week beginner yoga course with Katja. It was a brilliant introduction to yoga and moved at the perfect pace. We covered a lot, but it never felt rushed. Katja took the time to help us individually when we were a bit unsure about the moves and created a lovely atmosphere for the group. If you're new to yoga, as I was, this is an excellent course. I'm looking forward to trying future courses with Zest for Yoga.

Katja Patel is an excellent teacher who knows how to make the students feel at ease giving variations suiting everyone's body types. She starts with simple conditioning, then an opening prayer, loosening practices followed by asanas/sun salutations and ending it with deep relaxation. I recently attended her Restorative Class during the October term break and it was just what I needed being a yoga teacher myself. I was recovering from a neck injury and all I needed was some relaxation. With just 6 simple postures in the late evening, the whole class relaxed. We were about a group of 10 students at 7:30pm in the evening. Thanks Katja. I would definitely recommend her for any kind of class - yoga or restorative or pregnancy. Please hold more such restorative classes during term breaks.
