I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and it was truly unforgettable. The team surprised me in the morning with a beautiful birthday setup made of flowers — such a thoughtful and emotional gesture. The staff went above and beyond in every possible way: they accepted and delivered everything we ordered from outside the hotel, making our stay completely stress-free. The service was exceptional, the rooms were spotless, and the entire property is absolutely stunning. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything here feels well cared for, calm, and luxurious. Honestly, this place is just one big plus after another. I couldn’t recommend it more and would love to come back again.

Suenyo Eco Retreat is one of those rare places that actually makes you slow down. Tucked in Tabanan, surrounded by lush jungle and right next to the Yeh Poh River, it feels like you’ve stepped into a private bamboo sanctuary, quiet, grounded, and beautifully designed. The architecture is unreal, these sculptural bamboo pavilions blend into nature in a way that feels respectful, not flashy. Our pavilion was spacious and peaceful, with a private infinity pool facing the greenery, an outdoor stone bathtub, and little details that make the whole experience feel intentional. Falling asleep to the sound of the river, then waking up to jungle light pouring in, is something I’ll genuinely miss. Service was warm and thoughtful, always present when you need it, never intrusive. And the wellness offering is the perfect match for the setting, their riverside shala, massages make the stay feel more like a reset than just a “hotel experience.” Food was another highlight, modern takes on Indonesian flavours using locally sourced ingredients, everything tasted fresh, balanced, and made with care. If you’re looking for peace, nature, design, and a place that feels genuinely soulful, Suenyo is it. I left feeling calmer, lighter, and already planning the next visit.

From the atmosphere, to the way the pavilions are designed for seclusion and serenity, to the feeling that you’re genuinely invited to slow down, disconnect, and reconnect.  The wellness offering is also next level. The riverside shala is dreamy, and the menu of experiences like the massages makes the stay feel transformative, not just relaxing.  And the food, wow. The culinary side is a journey on its own, refined Indonesian cuisine, full of spice, depth, and soul, with ingredients sourced locally from organic farms in Tabanan. Every meal felt thoughtful, beautiful, and delicious.  On top of all that, the team brings it all to life with warmth and care, you feel genuinely looked after without anything feeling forced or “hotel like”. If you’re looking for a unique Bali experience that’s quiet, authentic, and unforgettable, Suenyo is it. I’d return in a heartbeat.

Such a wonderful and great experience. This hotel is perfect for people who want peace and calm. The view and everything around was stunning, very quiet, with so many beautiful details. The staff were very kind, and the food was excellent—nothing to complain about. It made me feel like it was a second honeymoon with my husband. We were planning to go out during our stay, but we couldn’t leave the hotel because we couldn’t get enough of it.
