I am deeply grateful to have found such an inspiring and caring yoga teacher. Her teaching is rooted in Iyengar yoga, a method known for its precision, attention to alignment, and intelligent use of props. What I especially appreciate is that this style of yoga is ideal for everyone, for people who have health conditions, for those who are new to yoga and for more experienced practitioners who want to deepen their practice, refine their alignment, and build greater balance and strength in a safe and mindful way. She has an exceptional ability to observe the body, listen carefully, and offer guidance that is clear, thoughtful, and respectful of individual needs. She is attentive and careful, yet she also knows how to gently challenge me so that I can continue to grow with confidence and awareness. Her support has been truly transformative for my health. When I suffered from a slipped disc and pain radiating through my neck, shoulder, arm, and fingers, she guided me with care and competence. At times when my health felt more fragile due to a heart condition, her individual sessions made me feel safe, supported, and deeply understood. What sets her apart is her holistic approach. The combination of her yoga guidance, Ayurvedic massage, and personalized counseling helped me recover more than anything else I tried. Beyond physical healing, her work allowed me to rebuild trust in my body, regain confidence in myself, and reconnect with life with a renewed sense of strength and calm. I also had the opportunity to participate in a yoga retreat she organized in Puglia, which was a beautiful and enriching experience. I have occasionally taken yoga lessons with Cristina, though traveling to Amsterdam takes some time for me. This was the first time I treated myself to a yoga retreat—in Italy, in Salento. The intensity of the exercises and stretches, both outdoors and indoors, combined with the sunny October sky, the sea, and not to forget the incredible Italian food—ordered by Cristina from an amazing local restaurant that served us three times a day—made this retreat truly unforgettable. As a yoga instructor, Cristina is simply the best. She not only accommodated a diverse group of 10 participants but also went beyond that—carefully observing and understanding the individual challenges of each of our bodies, and offering exercises accordingly. The Ayurvedic massages given by Cristina were also incredible. I came back home with a completely different mindset—and a much more flexible body than I had when I arrived. 😊

I am grateful to Cristina for bringing this beautiful retreat (2026 Feb @ India ) experience to the Netherlands and guiding us through such a meaningful journey. This was my very first yoga retreat, my first time in India, and also my first experience with Ayurveda treatments. I truly didn’t know what to expect but what I received was far beyond anything I imagined. After these 10 days, I felt a level of calm and inner peace I had never experienced before. It was like pressing a reset button in the middle of my busy life. I left feeling mentally clear and deeply grounded. The twice-daily yoga classes filled me with energy. The warm and comfortable climate helped my body open up more easily, allowing me to go deeper into each practice. I could feel real progress day by day. After diagnosed by the Ayurveda doctor, the meals prepared for me were not only delicious but also perfectly nourishing for my body. The daily massage sessions were something I looked forward to every single day. The therapists are highly skilled, offering a variety of techniques tailored to different parts of the body, combining traditional Ayurveda treatments with professional expertise of a very high standard. This 10-day immersive experience helped me rebalance from the inside out. I returned home feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to myself.
