GoogleVery cool and well structured place. I really appreciate the fact that they have processes in place to handle customer requests. We sent a feedback about things that could be improved and promptly got a response. Guest experience team even offered to have a chat and talk about it. A day later we saw an improvement about something we complained, so that was nice to see. The staff is 97% overwhelming friendly and try to make you feel comfortable. The place itself is in a good shape, especially compared to south east Asia in total. For the monthly price you get a fair amount of possibilities which, when paid separately, would possibly come at a higher rate.
I spent 2 months at Nirvana Life Fitness & Wellness Club, coming almost daily for many hours. My monthly membership cost around 3,5mio IDR (abt. 180€), and was definitely worth it, considering that I was looking for a place to work from on my laptop, train daily, go to the sauna and connect with like-minded people. ✅ pros: - well equipped gyms (indoor & outdoor, AC no AC). They can get crowded around peak hours, but still well equipped - amazing classes for mobility (shout out to Amy, you rock!), plenty of offerings for strength-, handstand- and other group workouts - great spa facilities, several saunas, a steam room and ice baths at 4 and 10 degrees - bathrooms are cleaned once or twice an hour, making them clean most of the time - a lot of fit people around, which served as great inspiration for me - exclusively friendly staff, it shows that staff is treated (and probably paid) well. Special thanks to Aldi, Satya and Vitria for being so welcoming - very chill area around the pool - long opening hours - free body scan for each monthly membership, allowing to track fitness progress (body fat percentage, muscle distribution, BMI, ...) - WiFi is stable and faster than most places in Canggu. Less bandwidth when its super crowded, but great WiFi regardless - food quality and menu variety is remarkable ❌ cons: - it can get over crowded here, especially the coworking area is often reaching its capacity on weekdays (Monday-Wednesday especially). Some classes are packed and feel slightly overbooked considering the space available. I understand that Nirvana has to be profitable with this place, but it can feel too packed. I wouldn't want to be here in peak season (around Christmas and New Years) - when it rains all the chairs and tables can be taken and there is no place to stay/sit down - my motorbike got scratched in the parking lot, as its super crammed when busy - many superficial people, this place can feel a bit disconnecting, despite having a lot of people around. Most people don't engage in conversation, if you're not a hot chick 😅 - Nirvana is constantly expanding their club, which is amazing! Now they're building a hotel next door, so there might be more construction noise in the coming months
Nirvana Live has easily become my favourite gym in Canggu. The vibe, the energy, the community, everything just feels right from the moment you walk in. The space is super clean, the equipment is top-notch, and the workouts actually make you look forward to coming back the next day. Special shoutout to Rian and Eirine for their amazing hospitality. They genuinely make the place feel like home. Whether it’s helping with check-ins, guiding you around, or just their warm attitude, these two are the reason you start the session with a smile. Little things matter, and they absolutely nail that. If you’re looking for a gym in Bali that blends great workouts with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, Nirvana Live should be at the top of your list. Highly recommend!
It's basically the best gym I've ever been to. The food there is fantastic, there's plenty of space for coworking, and the recovery facilities are perfect. There are two saunas, various ice baths, and a steam room, so you really have everything you need. The entire space is very well designed and it really feels like a small community. The people there and the staff are super relaxed and friendly, so overall it's just a great experience. If you're looking for a gym in this area, this is definitely the one.
I spent four weeks in Canggu and signed up for the four-week membership at Nirvana Life. As someone who is not particularly fit, I was initially hesitant. Everyone looked so active, and I worried I might not feel comfortable or out of place. A special thank you to Rosa, who kindly put me at ease when I first dropped by just to have a look around and see whether this could be a safe, supportive base while I focused on mobility and rest during my solo retreat. What stood out immediately was how inclusive the environment is. The instructors genuinely cater to different fitness levels, so classes never felt intimidating or inaccessible. The facilities are excellent and very well maintained. The staff are constantly cleaning equipment, wiping down common touch points, and even draining water promptly on rainy days, which made the space feel cared for and hygienic at all times. The two large pools were a highlight, and I was delighted to be there when the new Yoga Shala opened. It is clear that whoever designed this place truly understands and prioritises holistic wellness. The staff are attentive and warm, often addressing members by name and making everyone feel welcome and at home. I also appreciated the wide range of offerings, from fitness and mobility classes to breathwork sessions, which allowed me to choose what felt right for my body on any given day. The co-working space was a great bonus, and while I did wish there were a few more power plugs, the lounge area was still a lovely place to spend time. The cold plunge and sauna facilities were excellent and never felt overcrowded, as there is ample space for everyone. And finally, the cats wandering around the gym added a uniquely charming touch. Every visit felt calming and grounding, right down to checking in and collecting my locker wristband. Nirvana Life was a genuinely supportive and nurturing space for my solo retreat. I would absolutely return and look forward to seeing how it continues to grow. Keep up the great work.
