GoogleWhat a beautiful session I had with Nay :) I never really thought yoga wasnt my thing because I am in my thoughts a lot (ADHD brain), but somehow this session made me feel at ease with my thoughts and to really feel my body and I felt like I was able to integrate movement with reflection. Nay also has a very gentle and encouraging way about her that empowered me to do something I wasn't able to before.
My favourite Place in Ubud! Great Yoga clases, amazing and super profesional teacher. My favourite class is Yin Yoga, i always sleep like a baby after it. The most delicious thai massage and Flower Bath. They also have a Restaurant Where you can go for nice Breakfast after class The space is beautiful, balinese arquitecture, really peacefull vibes and all the staff is super kind and friendly. Highly recomended ✨
I have been a student with Cincinnati Yoga School for 300 Hours Vishwa Ayurveda Elemental Yoga Teacher Training and Thai Yoga Massage. As part of the course we did our training at Lotus Yoga Shala many times. I have had great yogic experiences at Lotus Yoga Shala. For me it is a place where you do tapas by learning and practising yoga and various other forms of self connect. Here at Lotus Yoga Shala it becomes an experience to know yourself through the meridian (energy channels) approach and connecting that with yoga practice. In the offerings, there is also Spritual Companionship. Once we know which elements are out of balance, then the whole approach is to balance the elements in yoga through the meridian approach. Not just that but a meridian approach of Thai Yoga Massage. Combining both the things for healing it becomes an experience of self to know self to become a better self. I'm grateful to William for having me as a student and now I'm also taking care of shala by teaching. The shala is to learn and spread the words of harmony. The harmony is within self first and then it can come out for the rest. I wish all of you reading this a happy life. Remember, 'whatever is in the way is the way.'
We took a yoga class with Nay and it was great! She's amazing and very knowledgeable!
I find myself lucky and honoured to have Salwat as my first yoga teacher. More importantly than the poses which he personally ensured I was doing accurately, I was much released from the pressure of needing to do everything right and well, and encouraged to listen to my body and do as it is comfortable. To lead my body to health, relaxation and fitness instead of force it. When I initially overstretched myself the gentle souls here even gave me a drink before continuing the session. Disclaimer: that's not part of the price, and I happened to be the only student during the time I attended so your mileage may vary. 😛 But yes, I'm very honoured to have this be the first place I learnt yoga.
