I recently completed the Yin Yoga Therapy training in Bali, and it was nothing short of transformative. This program stands out for its detailed and insightful approach, blending equal parts of practice and theory to create a deep, holistic understanding of Yin Yoga. Under the guidance of my teacher, Manuela, who is not only highly experienced but also an amazing specialist in Yin Yoga, I delved into the depths of this ancient practice. Manuela’s expertise is evident in every session, as she seamlessly integrates the physical aspects of Yin Yoga with its rich theoretical foundation. Her teachings go beyond the mat, offering wisdom that stays with you long after the practice ends. What made this training truly unique was its comprehensive exploration of Taoism, a philosophy deeply intertwined with Yin Yoga. Through these teachings, I gained valuable insights into the principles that govern this practice, allowing me to connect more deeply with myself and the world around me. This training has genuinely changed my life and mindset. I wholeheartedly recommend it not only to those aspiring to become teachers but to anyone who desires to connect with themselves on a deeper level and cultivate mindfulness in their daily life. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or new to Yin Yoga, this program offers something invaluable for everyone.

Looking back on my Yin Yoga Therapy Training, my heart overflows with love and gratitude. This journey has been so much more than just learning about yin yoga; it has been a transformative experience that touched every corner of my being. I’ve gained not only profound knowledge of yin yoga but also a deeper understanding of myself—a gift I never anticipated receiving in such abundance. The location itself felt like an extension of the practice: spacious, serene, and breathtakingly beautiful. It provided the perfect environment to delve into this sacred work, offering a sense of grounding and inspiration with every step. The way the material was taught resonated deeply with me. every piece of information felt like a thread weaving together the intricate tapestry of yin yoga. The teachings were so rich, engaging, and thought-provoking that I found myself constantly inspired. It’s no exaggeration to say I looked forward to every session with a sense of joy and curiosity. What stands out most to me is the immense support from the teachers. Their guidance and compassion created a safe space for growth, exploration, and healing. I felt seen, heard, and held every step of the way. One of the most beautiful aspects of the training was the focus on our group dynamic. The emphasis on sharing circles and open discussions allowed us to connect not just as students but as a community of hearts and souls. And then, there were the 2-hour yin classes—pure bliss. Each class was a journey into stillness and surrender, a deeply nourishing and transformative practice that left me feeling balanced and renewed. I loved my first course so much that I decided to join the second one before the first even ended—a decision that speaks volumes about how meaningful and enjoyable this experience was for me. This training has been a gift in every sense of the word, and I couldn’t recommend it more to anyone seeking not only to deepen their understanding of yin yoga but also to embark on a path of self-discovery and connection. My gratitude for this experience and for the incredible teachers is truly beyond words.

I had a great experience during my yin yoga teacher training in Bali and I’m very thankful to the teachers Alex and Tina for making this training available to us. They provided so much wisdom, experience, laughter, stories, love and support as well as theory and practical exercises. As all 150 h trainings (the rest is online) done in three weeks it’s challenging with a full schedule from mon-fri, but you have the weekends off and you also have a 2,5 h lunchbreak during the day which is also good (but is needed to do some homework as well). In the end all the hours are required for the certification, but you get to do most of the anatomy and philosophy online in your own paste within a year which was a great solution for me. The location in Bali is just a little outside of the Ubud center, but can easily be accessed using a scooter, grab or gojek. The location is surrounded by beautiful scenery and rice fields and it’s such a nice atmosphere there. Even though the busy road is close by, you can’t hear or see it. I had a single room which was big with a beautiful view, but the standard is very simple and not very sound isolated (bring earplugs). But the room was cleaned every day, new towels every other day and it had AC so I didn’t need more really. All together I learned so much about yin yoga, about healing, connecting to myself and others, finding balance, energy work and the connection between mind, body and spirit as a wholeness. The yang session in the morning with Tina was a very nice balance to the yin yoga later during the day and we had some nice surprises during the sunset circles some evenings. We also learned and practiced different types of meditation and used mindfulness as a tool in the yin classes which is a beautiful combination. I can promise you will get challenged, but you will grow so much from it and I would absolutely recommend others to do this training.
