Kalapa Resort and Yoga Retreat

Close to main streets of Canggu, but hidden away enough to feel secluded, quiet and close to nature, which we loved. This was such a nice experience to stay here. The staff is lovely and the complimentary yoga every morning is something that really helped us calm down and relax. It is a nice place to enjoy by the pool (two pools) plus the one in our room, tan, read a book in silence or enjoy delicious food or coffee from the in house restaurant. Oka and the other men & women working here have been nothing but incredible during our stay; so willing to help, warm, always greeting us upon arrival and leaving the room each day and checking in on us so that we are comfortable. Loved the fact that they clean the room everyday, plus change the sheets and towels to fresh ones daily. A bonus for sure. It is a djungel dream with lots of tropical plants, birds chirping and butterflies and lizards all around. It is lovely to be surrounded by nature like this. 🌴 If we come back to Canggu in the future, this is where we will stay. ❤️

It was overall a great stay for the price, very kind staff that heeded most requests, but always smiling and you find yourself always saying thank you! The facilities were in general great, but they did not change the bedding that often, and there were too many insects inside your room (at least our own). My wife got at least 10 bites inside our house, we would love for there to be a bit more pest control of some sort, but it can be tough when they make it feel like you're in a mini jungle inside the city!

Honestly a very decent place for the price you’d pay. Friendly staff as well. They need to maintain their pool more often. Towels need to be changed frequently. Some pool beds have stain on them that also makes you feel a bit uncomfortable.

A true hidden gem! We’ve stayed at Kalapa Resort multiple times, and every visit feels like coming home. What makes this place so special? First and foremost, the wonderful staff – they are some of the kindest, most welcoming people you’ll meet. Always smiling, always ready to help, and genuinely caring about your stay. You can feel the warmth in everything they do. The resort itself is beautifully small-scale and intimate, which makes it feel extra peaceful and personal. No crowds, no rush – just pure relaxation. The villas are nice, a little dated maybe, but with a lot of traditional Balinese charm. They feel private and cozy, and for what you get, the price is more than fair. If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic, and affordable retreat in Bali, this is the place. We keep coming back for a reason! 💛

My Wife & I had the pleasure of staying @ Kalapa Resort and we loved every second of it. The staff were friendly and helped us with all our needs. The yard was beautiful and we enjoyed Yoga & Swimming.
