JZT Dance & Yoga

My daughter Lucia absolutely loves coming to dance here. She takes Hip Hop and Acro, and from day one the experience has been nothing but positive. The school is extremely professional, well-organized, and welcoming. The teachers are fantastic, friendly, encouraging, and great with the kids. You can really tell they care about each student and work hard to build both confidence and skills in a fun, supportive environment. Lucia always leaves class smiling and excited to come back, which says everything. Highly recommend this studio to any parent looking for a positive and high-quality dance school.

We searched high and low in the Hoboken, Union City, Weehawken area for the right dance school for a couple years and are so thrilled to have found JZT! It reminds me of the warmth and dedication in my first dance school back home in Utah. I wish I found them sooner. Other places my daughter never wanted to keep attending lessons, but she has never complained about going to jazz and acro at JZT. It’s the right mix of fun and real learning. Can’t recommend enough if you live on this side of the Hudson and have a young kid that wants to move and have fun! Her acro skills improved so quickly from the beginning of the year, and jazz has her attention like most things can’t capture. We are thrilled! Thanks JZT!!!

This is my daughter’s tenth year at JZT, and I can confidently recommend this dance school. They have been part of her journey since her second year, and we have witnessed her growth year after year. The school continuously improves its training, structure, and overall experience for the students. The level of discipline, technique, and performance quality they develop truly makes a difference. Her training at JZT has played an important role in her recent acceptance into a competitive performing arts high school program, and we are very grateful for the strong foundation she received here. We are proud to be part of this community and can’t wait for this year’s recital!

My daughter has been in JZT for 4 years already and is starting her 5th. It has been a really great place that she has loved. From being a 3/4 year old and just starting to take a class a week to now being on the competition team and taking 7 classes a week. It’s an incredible environment. Great teachers that are really able to understand the children and work with them to get the most out of them. The improvement I have seen and the maturation of my daughter I’ve the last couple of years is a huge testament to what they do here. They have amazing choreography and high level numbers all while keeping the small warm familial environment that this studio prides itself on. Miss Jenn absolutely adores all the children that dance here and her Husband Mr Ned is at the front desk always willing to help you and answer questions and even talk some sports with the Dads that are dropping off or picking up. So if you are looking for an amazing place to start your child in dance or if you’ve moved to the area and have a highly skilled dancer looking to take it to the next level, then JZT is the place.

This is an amazing place for dance. I love how they make you feel like you’re part of their family. The teachers are amazing! From the dancers point I feel like I have learned I lot. Probably best studio I’ve ever been to.Amazing place definitely recommend!!
