Zen Boutique Hoi An-Eco - Friendly Villa

Had the absolute BEST stay here and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The staff, especially Nhi and Huong, were incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. They organised our airport transfer seamlessly, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I hadn’t even realised breakfast was included, so that was such a lovely surprise. Instead of a standard buffet, we were able to choose from Western options, bánh mì or pho, plus a beautiful fruit platter, yoghurt, coffee and juices. Honestly, it was far better than any of the buffet breakfasts we had at previous hotels. We loved the “private villa but boutique hotel” vibe. The rooms were big, spacious and very comfortable. The pool was on the colder side, but with how hot and humid Vietnam is, it was actually so refreshing and perfect after a long day out. We’d been given a few tailor recommendations, but the staff suggested BeBe as the best quality option for what we wanted (even though it was a bit more expensive). We’re SO glad we listened — absolutely worth it (I’ve left a separate review for them!). Huong also organised discounted tickets to Hoi An Memories for us, which worked out cheaper than Klook. On top of that, I’d accidentally left something at a previous hotel and they arranged for it to be flown to me — such incredible service. Truly cannot fault a single thing. Just a note: Old Town is about a 1km walk. We really enjoyed the walk, but if you prefer to be right in the centre without walking, that’s something to keep in mind.

Really enjoyed Zen Villa, my first time staying at a smaller boutique hotel. The ladies at reception were excellent, so friendly and attentive. Provided plenty of options and activities to do (weren’t too pushy trying to sell them either) AND their recommendations all ended up being excellent. The tailor they recommended ended up being the absolute best of all we tried, so the ladies know what they’re talking about. Some reviews talk about the distance from old town. If you don’t want to walk 20 minutes, don’t book somewhere that is a 20 minute walk away via the map! It’s an easy walk and they also offer free bikes to get around town! We walked to the old town at least twice a day during our stay. The pool is undercover, refreshing temperature! I’d be more than happy to book Zen villa again and recommend you give it a go too.

We had a wonderful time in Hoi An, and the fantastic hotel definitely contributed to that! Huong and Nhi were great hosts and always had a warm smile on their faces. As a guest, you immediately feel comfortable and well taken care of. We received excellent tips for restaurants, excursions, spas, and tailors! The room was pleasant and the breakfast was delicious. We had a lovely time at Zen. Very friendly and kind staff, everybody was super welcoming and helpful. Our room was very spacious, clean and bright, with a big balcony and huge bathroom. Generous breakfast included, with vegan options on request. We also loved the location, walking distance to the centre but in a more quiet area close to rice fields. Bicycles were available free of charge. Great value for money. Would definitely stay there again 😊 Just a heads up: our room was overlooking a small rice field (nice green view) and the frogs were pretty loud at night. We personally didn’t mind and actually enjoyed the „concert“ and simply used our earplugs.

We absolutely loved our stay at Zen Boutique Villas! Even though it’s called a villa, our room was more like a spacious suite with a lovely garden view, a huge balcony, and a giant bathroom. We stayed on the second floor and everything was spotless and comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and caring — always ready to help with anything we needed. They even shared their homemade yogurt recipe with us, which was delicious! The laundry service was also excellent; our clothes came back perfectly clean and fresh. The location is great, with everything within walking distance, and the breakfast was tasty with lots of options to choose from. Honestly, everything was perfect — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
