I can't speak for the other teachers at 108 Yoga Studio, as I discovered this beautiful place through Mia Oktari, who teaches there. I had previously practiced with her elsewhere, and it was because of her that I decided to come here. The studio itself is a traditional yoga shala, with a wooden floor — an absolute must for any serious yoga practice, especially Power Yoga or Ashtanga, to reduce the impact of vibrations on the body. Mia is an extraordinary teacher. After over 20 years of practicing around the world, including long periods in India, I can say she is truly one of the best I've ever met. Her practice, guidance, and attitude towards students are impeccable. Even though Mia teaches at some of the most renowned locations in Bali, 108 Yoga Studio remains my favorite. The students here are true yoga practitioners — there’s no competition, just a relaxed, fun, and deeply connected atmosphere among everyone. Whether you're stepping into your first-ever yoga class or you're an advanced practitioner, you'll find classes suited to your level here. Highly recommended if you truly want to practice yoga from the heart. Thank you! ----- After few years going to this shala... I can say that you have to try both, Mia and Sagi classes. The new shala is AMAZING! Thanks YOU!

Beautiful place where I can truly reconnect with myself. The energy is peaceful, the instructors are supportive, and every session leaves me feeling lighter, grounded, and refreshed. Truly one of my favorite places to practice yoga 👍🏻

Loved it! I'm a self taught, home based practice so it was great to attend a class where I received guidance for my poses and not feel judged. Loved his dry sense of humour. Definitely got hot, sweaty and challenged but also so rewarding! He conducted the class for all yoga levels.

Yoga 108 is an absolute gem! The vibe is refreshingly down-to-earth, and the staff is not only helpful but genuinely caring. Honestly, it’s exactly what I needed to kickstart my wellness journey. After a serious accident a few years back, my body would seize up, and I knew I needed something gentle, supportive, and soul-nourishing to get back on track. I drove past Yoga 108 for months, curious but a little hesitant—thought yoga was only for the young, trendy influencers with perfect poses. I was wrong! A few months ago, I finally took the plunge, and I can’t sing its praises enough. Without the incredible spirit and kindness of the Yoga 108 crew, I’d be in a much worse place today. My favourites? The beginners’ classes on Tuesdays and Sundays with the amazing Violen (Vee). They’re a perfect entry point—whether you’re brand new, coming back after a break, or healing from injuries. Vee is nothing short of a spiritual goddess! Her compassion, passion, and empathy shine through every class. She carefully guides you, making sure each person gets the most out of every pose. Her love for yoga and people is contagious, and she has this incredible knack for making everyone feel special. After her classes, I walk away inspired, energised, and ready to conquer anything life throws my way. Vee’s energy is pure magic, and I feel so grateful to her for lighting that spark in me. And let’s talk about the Yin classes with Alena—they are nothing short of dreamy. Unlike most Yin classes, Alena weaves a gentle flow into her sessions, creating a meditative, almost transcendental experience. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and let her guidance take you on a calming journey. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned yogi, every class feels tailored and accessible, thanks to Alena’s attentive and caring approach. Those long holds—some up to 3 minutes—leave you feeling like you can tackle anything life throws at you. It’s pure magic. Honestly, do yourself a favour—schedule both classes and see what it’s all about. Yoga 108 isn’t just exercise; it’s a transformation for your body, mind, and soul. It’s changed my life in ways I never expected, and I’m so thankful I finally came through that door. And for the more experienced practitioners, they’ve got an array of talented teachers and classes to suit every level. My only regret? Wishing I had discovered Yoga 108 sooner! So go on—take that leap and enjoy the wonderful journey. You’ll thank yourself, and me, I promise!

Dropped in for a really great vinyasa class - tough going but with options and adjustments as needed. Beautiful shala, and very clear instructions, thank you!
