Amazing 200-hour YTT at Ubud Yoga House — what a journey! I came as a beginner… and somehow ended up a Bhakti yoga teacher! ✨ Ubud Yoga House is in the best spot ever—right in the middle of rice fields, nature everywhere, 🌺🌾🍃and their cat Kucing is basically the cutest boss of the place. 🥰 The classes here are so much more than just learning yoga poses. We go deep into every posture, every alignment, and I love it. And the mindfulness meditation? My absolute fave. It helps me connect with my body, mind, and even my soul. Everything we need is already inside us. ✨🎆 Sheila, our lead teacher, is like a living wisdom library. Every workshop with her helps me find more pieces of myself. And sharing with my classmates created such deep connections. I love her with my whole heart.❤️🥰 Teacher Nicole is pure love and sunshine. I always have so much fun in her classes. She helped me tons during the teaching practice and made me feel brave enough to show my true self. She made me realize… being myself is already enough. I hope one day I can shine with the same love and light she does.🥰😇 Teacher Sandi’s classes? SO challenging but in the most exciting way. His alignment corrections feel amazing, and his fun, playful teaching style pushes me past my limits every single time. 🤣😜 Sera’s classes are cute, lively, and full of good vibes. She’s always ready to help us.👍😘 And Michale and Nico also taught me so, so much. I feel stronger and stable everyday ! I’m so grateful for the amazing partners and teachers I met on this journey. Location is amazing. Teachers/instructors are very attentive and kind. Met the owner and she was amazing and even gave us free cloth bags. It was my second year in a row coming for the sunrise yoga. Classes are never crowded/full.

I took the Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) recently at Ubud Yoga House and it was an outstanding experience! I learned so much about the Asanas and alignment and about the philosophy and history of Yoga as well. Additionally, Sheila, the owner of Ubud Yoga House is an expert in mindfulness and meditation and I could listen to her highly experienced talks for hours. During YTT she was available for questions and organizarion all the time as well as her staff, Kumong and Wayan. Huge compliment to her great management and classes!! The Yoga classes were often taught by Sandhi, a very experienced Iyengar/Hatha teacher and they were challenging and fun at the same time. Sera, another Yoga Teacher at YTT also taught us so much and is a humorous person with a calm mind and a happy heart. Yoga Teacher Nicole taught us in Asanas as well as in Teaching students and she is quite talented at motivating and encouraging people. She has a great spirit and was a big inspiration to all of us. Additionally, Ubud Yoga House (UYH) is in general such a beautiful and calm place, in the middle of nature and the rice fields, but also close to the center of Ubud as well. So we did not only learn here, but also found a save space for journaling, reflection and healing. Cat Kucing was always around to support us with cuddling or just being around and showing his calming presence :) The breakfast at Pukako‘s is included in YTT every day and I loved this gorgeous café right in the neighbourhood so much. It was a great place for conversations and the beloved first hot latte in the morning. The staff there is great!! And last but not least: I had the chance to connect to Yogis from all over the globe, created new friendships and we laughed a lot together. All the people at UYH and YTT made it an unforgettable experience for me, so thanks to all of you! ❤️

Ubud Yoga House 200 Hour Teacher Training Wonderful experience to improve my understanding of yoga in the most stunning setting possible!! Most of the training took place on the upper terrace yoga studio, which overlooked green rice fields, and in the lower yoga shala, where you can hear the sound of the jungle river. The yoga instruction was exceptional. The small group setting allowed for close interaction with instructors and an overall deeper understanding. The training offered an overview of many yoga styles with a focus on Hatha and Iyengar, and also included Vinyasa and Yin. Shelia, the founder and owner, is trained in mindful meditation and Buddhist philosophy. She imparted her ‘mindfulness’ knowledge and wisdom with ease and humor so that it was approachable for all levels. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime. I look forward to returning for an upcoming retreat! Lindsey
