Mount Lofty House Estate - Adults Retreat

Lovely retreat, thank you to all the staff for the memorable anniversary celebration. Staying with Mount Lofty Estate was a wonderful experience, from the beginning to the end of the trip, we felt so at home and comfortable. The “mini” tour by Chris was very memorable, giving such a heartwarming welcome. It was the first time where a hotel helped us meet other guests and just allow conversations to flow. The room was lovely and their cookies are so good! Views are impeccable and it’s so close to the city which makes it so convenient. Morning yoga was great too!

Our second visit so we were excited to return with our friends to celebrate their birthdays. From the moment we arrived Christopher and the team made us feel so very welcome. The hotel (House) is beautiful and everything is just so perfect. Make sure you go to the "house intro drinks" as Christopher tells a great story and give history of the beautiful Mount Lofty House Estate. Can't recommend enough and we look forward to coming back!

What can I say, when I first reached out in April 2025, following 6 previous months of planning a huge milestone for us as a couple & as a family. From the initial half-way across the world planning with Rosie, the booking process, communication, packages offered and the status and location of this amazing venue, iI knew we’d be in safe hands and what an experience it turned out to be! Rosie introduced myself to Amy, our celebrant who would be there for us on the day, Emmy at Dream Blooms - who both are amazing and have reviewed individually. All of this being a surprise for my wife, Emma, that was only revealed to her 3 weeks before when we were travelling with our family along the east coast of Australia. Crystal was our point of contact for phone calls in advance and at shorter notice gave recommendations for Amber Stephens Hair Artistry and Holly Bray at Forever After Socials. All of which made our small and intimate family occasion the most amazing memories for our trip and experience. She also looked after our every need on the day. We were the first to stay in the newly renovated Mount Lofty Cottages - comfortably sleeping 8, but there were 5 of us, which is ideal for the night before and,or after bigger weddings. We enjoyed 3 nights of à la carte dinners and breakfasts in the Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant. Check out the photo of our meal in the dome, which was #sospecial. What an incredible experience at Mount Lofty House! This stunning property is steeped in history, providing a perfect backdrop for our 28th wedding anniversary celebration. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the elegance and charm of the grounds, which are beautifully maintained and exude a sense of tranquility. Our stay in the Piccadilly Valley View Room was nothing short of exceptional. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, offering breathtaking views that made our experience even more special. We also had an amazing dining experience at Martha Hardy’s Restaurant & Hardy’s Verandah. A special shoutout to William, who assisted us with our booking and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. His friendly demeanor and professionalism truly enhanced our experience. The overall service at Mount Lofty House was simply superb. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

Great wedding venue. Staff were amazing. Rooms were beautiful. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a wedding venue. Crystal and Rosie will look after you if you're looking to plan an unforgettable wedding.
