Mangosteen Ayurveda & Wellness Resort

We had a great stay at the Mangosteen resort. The staff is lovely and the Ayurveda team is great. Dr. Nazeem and Dr. Megha were both extremely helpful and knowledgeable, we felt well looked after during our treatments. We also met with the owners of the resort during our stay - both very personable - Rose especially was very kind. The salt water pool is delightful! Couple of suggestions for the resort management: 1) The room we got had a huge bed - so much so that we couldn’t walk around it. I frequently hit my shins on the sharp edges (and have the bruised shins to show for it). On the other side of the bed there was barely 10 inches to walk around. Suggest improving this. 2) We encountered snakes on 2 occasions while walking on the path. Suggest putting some snake deterrent near the walking path to the rooms. We were a bit scared - especially at night to walk on the path. 3) Consider adding some variety and flavour to the Ayurveda menu (especially the breakfast meal options).

I just left Mangosteen and wanted to write this review while I’m still glowing from the magnificent treatment I received from start to finish. Hands down, this has been one of the best experiences of my life. Everything—from the people to the process, the property, and the level of pampering—was thoughtfully executed. The staff were phenomenal throughout my stay. They were attentive (they knew my name and preferences), genuinely warm, and welcoming. Poohpae and the front desk team made a wonderful first impression with welcome tea and a jasmine flower necklace, taking the time to explain what to expect during my stay after a long flight. The spa was truly exceptional. Dr. Meeka and the spa team, especially Raine and Bindi, tailored each treatment to my specific needs and even called my room just to check in. Dr. Pin made special ointments for me due to allergies (also sold in the gift shop), and they worked wonders after I pulled a muscle during yoga. Yoga was a highlight. They offer two classes a day, each focusing on different areas of the body, with beach yoga also available. The Ayurvedic detox and wellness menus were incredibly flavorful—I honestly forgot to add salt. If you prefer not to eat from the preset menus, that’s completely fine as well. All you have to do is ask, and they’ll happily prepare traditional Thai dishes or Western options. Every drink, whether juice, tea, or cocktails, was excellent. Rod, Peter, and Pen truly elevated the entire dining experience with their outstanding service. Relaxing by the saltwater pool while enjoying the tea of the day was the icing on the cake. 10/10 — I wholeheartedly recommend Mangosteen and look forward to returning.

I loved my 8 night stay at Mangosteen Ayuvedic resort. My villa was large and luxurious, with fresh fruit provided, a super comfortable bed and divine shower. The daily program of yoga was excellent. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and friendly and the food was super healthy and fresh! Access to spa and gym excellent. Just a tiny bit of feedback: maybe increase the wattage over the mirror in the walk-in wardrobe space? Having said that, I hardly wore make-up as I was using the amazing pool multiple times a day! My stay was so relaxing and wonderful, I look forward to visiting you again next year!

This resort is absolutely spectacular. I have just returned from 2 weeks holiday with a 10 day Ayurvedic Panchakarma detox squeezed in between. The rooms are incredible, beautiful decor and everything has be thought about for the perfect stay. The staff are wonderful and make you feel like part of the family. The Yoga, Spa, Pool and gym are fabulous and I feel emotionally, spiritually and physically like a new person! I will make this a yearly visit as it was worth every penny. Easily one of the best resort experiences I've ever had. Their attention to detail was unmatched. The resort is stunning and the owner made it a point to meet every single guest personally. The staff is extremely kind, attentive, accommodating and professional. I will definitely be back.
