Yin poses are held from 1 to 10 minutes and are a slow, quiet practice letting gravity assist open hips, release neck, shoulders and the lower back.

There are many different variations to Shoelace with Half Shoelace a lovely one for those first starting out a Yin practice - done with one leg straight.
